Trish Cox is head of Schwab Brokerage Services for Schwab Institutional Services, leading all brokerage-related corporate services, including stock plan services, designated brokerage services, mutual fund clearing and investment-only sales to employers.

 

Prior to this role, Cox was responsible for Schwab Advisor Services client experience, service, trading, operations, and technology. Before that, she led the client service and support organization for Schwab Investor Services. The organization provides service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to individual investors by a team of over 2,000 professionals. She also served as the vice president and chief operating officer for Schwab Retirement Plan Services, where she was responsible for product and service delivery for defined contribution, defined benefit, and non-qualified businesses. Prior to that, she served as vice president of participant services and education where she was responsible for providing plan participants with a wide variety of services and financial education programs through multiple delivery channels — including personalized 401(k) advice services.

 

Cox joined Schwab in 2000 as vice president and served as the general manager responsible for the Schwab Retirement Technologies business. She also played a key role in Schwab’s Plan Administrator Services Channel, which provides comprehensive retirement plan solutions to third-party administrators including trust, custody and investment services. Prior to joining Schwab, Cox held a variety of positions at American Management Systems, Inc.

 

Cox earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing management and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Virginia Tech, Pamplin School of Business. She is also a graduate of Harvard University’s General Manager Program and holds Series 7, 63, 66 and 24 licenses.
