Mark Coffrini heads Schwab Retirement Business Services for Schwab Institurional Services where he focuses on retirement advisors, independent retirement plan recordkeepers, small retirement plan opportunities for RIAs, and third party administrators (TPAs). Coffrini is also chief operating officer of Charles Schwab Trust Company, a division of Charles Schwab Bank, that provides services to both Schwab Retirement Plan Services and Schwab Retirement Business Services, and is reponsible for Schwab's collective investment trust funds.
Coffrini has more than twenty years experience in the retirement services industry, focusing on trust, custody and recordkeeping services. Prior to joining Schwab in 1999, he was responsible for operations, servicing and project management for the MasterWorks bundled 401(k) offering developed by Wells Fargo and acquired by Merrill Lynch. Coffrini also managed trust and investment administration for various defined contribution and defined benefit plans and managed operations for the Business Retirement Programs division at Wells Fargo.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California at Davis and holds Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.
