Quarterly Earnings Reports

The financial report for the calendar quarter, including monthly summary of trading and asset gathering activity at Schwab, is reported on or around the eleventh business day of the month following the end of each quarter. The corporation currently does not hold earnings release conference calls.

XBRL Files: The SEC is requiring large accelerated filers, such as The Charles Schwab Corporation, to begin filing in Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) for quarterly reports containing financial statements for fiscal periods ending on or after June 15, 2009. XBRL is an XML-based language for the electronic transmission of business and financial data. XBRL is not an accounting standard; it is simply a standard for transmitting business and financial data.
